Technology Committee Seminar Speaker BiosDavid Andresen—Vice President, Corporate Finance, at Cornell Capital Partners, LPMr. Andresen's duties include identifying opportunities for the fund as well as structuring investments by the fund into publicly traded companies. Additionally, since 2000, he has served as a advisor to Summit Global Management. Prior to joining Cornell Capital Partners, Mr. Andresen founded Early Capital, where he provided venture capital and investment banking services to emerging technology companies. He was responsible for arranging and structuring Series A financings for high tech and biotech companies from corporate investors. Mr. Andresen has been a guest speaker at international investment banking conferences, as well as domestic biotech and entrepreneurial and technology conferences in the US. From 1989 to 1992, he served as a researcher in Astrophysics and Solid State Physics, funded respectively by NASA and the Department of Energy. Mr. Andresen grew up and was educated in Europe. He speaks fluent Spanish, and earned a BA from the University of California, San Diego. Reid Carr—President, Red Door InteractiveRed Door Interactive builds and manages companies’ Internet presence.
